This must have been one of the most popular toys of the 1960s.
Yet they are hard to come by. The Jacko monkey was a soft toy
with plastic feet and arms, designed so that as soon as you
picked it up it cuddled you, ah bliss. h67cms.
Both of these toys are plastic and depict characters from the
cartoon strip peanuts. For this reason alone they are collectable.
Again this is not exactly a toy, although initially sold as one in the
1970s. It is in fact a ventriloquists dummy, depicting the once very
famous Nookie bear. If you come across one of these grab it, they
are becoming very rare. h98cms
Again not exactly toys, these are resin models of the popular
cartoon characters from count Duckula. Luckily a full set,
made for cosgrove studios. They will definitely be sought after
in the future.
This toy was a promotion offer from P.G.Tips Tea. A whole series
of them was produced and by collecting labels and sending off for
them you could become the proud owner of one. Because they are
a limited edition they are collectable. h38cms.
